MUST SEE: Norris dramatically crashes out of Q3 in Saudi Arabian GP Qualifying
McLaren's Lando Norris dramatically crashed out of Qualifying in Q3, relegating him to 10th on the grid for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in what could be a pivotal moment in the championship battle.
Norris' session came to an end when he stamped on the throttle too quickly, hopping across the exit kerb, before smashing into the concrete wall at Turn 5 and sliding to a halt. Offering an immediate assessment via team radio, Norris called himself an "idiot".

Only McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri had set a time in that phase of Qualifying, with the Australian having tapped a wall himself, while George Russell had also reported an impact with his floor over a kerb.
With Piastri eventually having to settle for P2 on the grid, after Max Verstappen's storming pole lap, the incident could have a pivotal impact on the Drivers' Championship – the McLaren pair separated by three points with the Red Bull driver himself only eight points behind the standings leader.
