Ferrari have confirmed that their upcoming F1 challenger will be called the SF-25.
Set to be presented on February 19, a day after the sport’s inaugural season launch at London’s The O2, it will be new signing Lewis Hamilton’s first car as a Ferrari driver.

It follows the naming convention that has been in place for the last two seasons, with Ferrari’s 2023 and 2024 machines called the SF-23 and SF-24 respectively.
Ferrari have been building up to the 2025 season with test outings at their own track in Fiorano – where Hamilton made his eagerly awaited debut for the team – and Barcelona over the last couple of weeks.
This week’s test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was interrupted by a crash for Hamilton, who has been sharing track time with team mate Charles Leclerc.
Going forward, Ferrari are also due to take part in a tyre test for Pirelli at the Spanish Grand Prix venue next week.
Hamilton and Leclerc will get their hands on Ferrari’s new car in a shakedown at Fiorano on February 19, before the F1 field head to Bahrain for pre-season testing from February 26-28.
