1. Norris vs Verstappen
Qualifying was a thrilling affair on Friday night as an unexpectedly wet session threw all of the teams and drivers a curveball – but it was two familiar names that ended up fighting over pole position.
Max Verstappen appeared less comfortable on the intermediate tyres during Q3 but still managed to put himself on provisional pole position before Lando Norris pulled out an impressive final lap to usurp the defending champion.
