There are no prizes for guessing whose written media session was best attended at Spa on Thursday, with the great and good of Formula 1's media centre descending on Red Bull's Energy Station to hear from reigning World Champion Max Verstappen for the first time since Laurent Mekies replaced Christian Horner as team boss at Red Bull.
Verstappen's future has been the subject of speculation for months despite the fact he has a contract with Red Bull – with whom he's won all four of his World Championships – until at least the end of 2028.
As is common in F1, driver managers are frequently exploring future options for their respective pilots and Verstappen's management are no different with his people having conversations with Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff.
