PALMER: Antonelli vs Colapinto – how did the two F1 rookies measure up at Monza?
Share
Monza welcomed two Formula 1 debutants on the weekend, each with very different approaches. Franco Colapinto built up steadily and produced a strong debut weekend for Williams, whilst Kimi Antonelli participated in his first Grand Prix weekend in FP1, making the headlines with a very different mindset.
Comparing the different approaches is difficult because the two drivers are in very different positions. Colapinto is confirmed for the rest of the season with Williams, in what is purely a nine-race cameo to showcase his talents.
