Provisional grid for Canada after penalties
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is set to start from 18th in Montreal, with Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen and McLaren's Jenson Button occupying the back row of the grid.
Vettel and Verstappen both carry penalties into the Grand Prix - Vettel was issued a five-place grid drop for a red flag infraction during FP3; Verstappen was docked 15 grid places in total for two separate infractions.
Button meanwhile was granted permission to start the race by the stewards having been forced to sit out qualifying after his McLaren developed an ERS-related fault in Saturday morning’s final practice session. The Briton will line up at the rear of the field in 20th - directly behind Vettel and Verstappen.
In full, the provisional starting order will be: Hamilton, Rosberg; Raikkonen, Bottas; Grosjean, Maldonado; Hulkenberg, Kvyat; Ricciardo, Perez; Sainz, Ericsson; Alonso, Nasr; Massa, Merhi; Stevens, Vettel; Verstappen, Button.
