The drivers’ championship battle took another twist in qualifying for the Mexico City Grand Prix as Max Verstappen got himself ahead of Lando Norris – but it is Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz who will start in front of both of them in pole position.
One week on from their impressive one-two result in Austin, the Scuderia again hinted at their promise at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez as Sainz claimed a sensational pole, putting him in the best position to claim another victory for the team.
