Max Verstappen secured his third pole of 2024 in Melbourne as his stellar start to the season continues. But he might not have it all his own way in Sunday's race, with Ferrari looking particularly strong around Albert Park.
Carlos Sainz will line up alongside Verstappen on the front row, while his team mate Charles Leclerc had looked solid throughout practice, though he could only finish P5 in qualifying.

However, Lando Norris, Leclerc and Oscar Piastri will all now start a place higher than they qualified – in P3, P4 and P5 respectively – following Sergio Perez's three-place grid drop.
