Max Verstappen’s practically perfect Austrian Grand Prix weekend continued apace as the race got under way on Sunday, the Red Bull driver holding off the advances of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to lead into Turn 1 at the Red Bull Ring.
Behind, AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda was less lucky, making contact with the Alpine of Esteban Ocon and damaging his front wing, before later going off at Turn 4 – a Safety Car briefly called as debris from the clash was picked up.
