Renault’s R.S.20 officially breaks cover in Barcelona

Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon’s charge for the 2020 season, the Renault R.S.20, has broken cover at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the final car to be unveiled as pre-season testing got underway on Wednesday morning.
Renault launched their season in Paris on February 12, teasing render images of the R.S.20 in a special black testing livery before the car hit the track on February 17 at Barcelona for a filming day, in the hands of Ocon.

Then, as the lights turned green for the commencement of pre-season testing on Wednesday, the car, in its testing livery, made its official debut, Ocon pulling the R.S.20 out of the garage and onto the circuit – with the Frenchman set to drive the morning session at Barcelona before handing over to Ricciardo for the afternoon.
The R.S.20 will be tasked with the mission of helping the team reclaim the fourth spot in the constructors’ standings that they conceded to McLaren in 2019, Renault ending last season 54 points adrift of their customer team in fifth place.
