Danish PREMA F3 driver Frederik Vesti took pole off his team mate Logan Sargeant

Formula 3 qualifying was a much more manic affair. Frederik Vesti left it until the final push to steal pole from his team mate Logan Sargeant, in a stop-start session.

Sebastian Fernandez had looked on course to secure his second pole in as many rounds before crashing out midway through. PREMA’s Logan Sargeant was able to better his time on the second run, before a late red flag put everyone back into the pits with less than five minutes to go.

Sargeant was unable to get back out on track, suffering mechanical issues, and had to watch on as his team mate Vesti, and Trident’s David Beckmann both improved on his time for P1 and P2.
