STRATEGY GUIDE: What are the tactical options for the Singapore GP?
So, who has the quickest F1 car of 2026? At the moment, it looks very much like Red Bull Racing, with Max Verstappen having an on-song Saturday at Marina Bay, winning the Sprint and taking pole position. After second place in Baku, and victory at Sepang, this triple-header has been the re-emergence of RBR – but can Verstappen seal the deal tomorrow?
The Sprint had plenty of drama, but in and around that, the running order was largely processional. But this isn’t necessarily a good guide to the Grand Prix, where undercuts and tyre deltas play a huge part in determining the outcome, and the final third of the race is usually eventful.
Good strategy can’t necessarily win the Singapore Grand Prix, but strategic errors can certainly lose it. So, what do we have in store on race day?
