The penultimate day of the Barcelona Shakedown has concluded as F1's teams continued to put their newest creations to the test, while Aston Martin also ventured out on track for the first time.
In a change from last season, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has hosted the five-day shakedown – with teams permitted to run on any three of those five days – in private due to the sweeping new regulations that come into play for the 2026 F1 season.
This extra opportunity to run, on top of two pre-season tests in Bahrain (from February 11-13 and 18-20), give the teams more of a chance to gather all-important data about their brand-new machines that will keep us gripped for the next year.
Day 4 was another busy affair in Spain as Aston Martin ran for the first time, with the Adrian Newey-designed AMR26 breaking cover – Lance Stroll was the man behind the wheel.
Elsewhere on track McLaren's Oscar Piastri got his first taste of the new MCL40, while the likes of Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Arvid Lindblad, Liam Lawson and Sergio Perez all got track time.
Check out the best social media posts below as the F1 teams shared updates from Barcelona.
