WATCH: AlphaTauri’s new F1 car roars into life with pre-season fire up
AlphaTauri have become the latest team to share a video of their 2023 F1 car being fired up for the first time, following on from rivals Alpine and McLaren.
Powered by a Honda power unit being run by the new Red Bull Powertrains division, the AT04 was brought to life with a pre-season fire up at AlphaTauri’s factory in Faenza, Italy.
The car will be driven by the continuing Yuki Tsunoda and new team mate Nyck de Vries, who steps up to F1 full-time after an eye-catching display as a Williams stand-in at last year’s Italian Grand Prix.
AlphaTauri will show off the livery for their AT04 in New York on February 11, before all 10 teams meet up in Bahrain for pre-season testing from February 23-25.
