The fourth season of the F1 Esports Pro Series presented by Aramco kicked off last month, with Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN F1 Esports Team’s Jarno Opmeer powering into an early standings lead. Now it’s time for Event 2 – and you can watch all the action here from 1930 UTC…
Opmeer recorded victory in the season-opener in Bahrain, before going on to take a podium in Hanoi in race 2. The Dutchman followed that up with another win in the final race of Event 1, giving him a 24-point advantage over his rivals.
Event 2 takes place over two nights – tonight and tomorrow – and features races on Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands, the Red Bull Ring in Austria, and the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Canada.
With a prize fund of $750,000 up for grabs, Opmeer is sure to have his work cut out to retain his lead. The first three races showed that an already ultra-tight grid has become even more close-knit, with thousandths of a second separating the best times in qualifying, and some seriously impressive racecraft on display.
