The second Formula 2 race of the weekend in Sochi was red-flagged following a big crash on the opening lap involving Nobuharu Matsushita and Nikita Mazepin. Both drivers escaped unscathed but were taken to hospital for precautionary checks. Following a long delay, Luca Ghiotto took victory in the re-started race.
