WATCH: Hulkenberg brings out red flags as he smacks into barriers during FP2 in Zandvoort
Nico Hulkenberg's second practice session in Zandvoort came to an early end as he skidded off track and collided with the barriers at Turn 1, bringing out the red flags.
After poor weather conditions in this morning’s FP1, all 20 drivers headed out this afternoon to take advantage of the sunnier skies during FP2. Having looked comfortable in the car, Hulkenberg crashed out of the session in dramatic fashion just after the quarter of an hour mark.

The German driver reported over the radio that the “rear completely locked up on braking” as he approached the corner, which ended the session prematurely for him and temporarily brought the on-track action to a halt.
Thankfully Hulkenberg was ok as he climbed out of the car and returned to the pits.
