Oscar Piastri brought out the red flags during Friday’s second practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix, with the championship leader taking a trip to the wall midway through proceedings.
Shortly after Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar clipped the barriers entering the Nouvelle Chicane to halt the action, Piastri misjudged his braking point for Sainte Devote and headed straight into the armco.

Piastri managed to reverse his way out of trouble with only a broken front wing – the Australian then crawling back to the pits for a change and managing to make it out on track again when the session resumed.
