WATCH: Raikkonen and Giovinazzi try to scare each other on their Jeddah hot laps

Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi have been team mates at Alfa Romeo for the last three years, and are set to part ways at the end of this season, with the Finn retiring and the Italian heading to Formula E.

But while they have been on good terms for their time together, that all looked set to change last weekend in Jeddah when Raikkonen took Giovinazzi for a lap of the exceptionally quick street track.

Forced to play the part of passenger, the Italian was clearly worried by his team mate’s interpretation of the racing line, not to mention surprised at some of the braking methods adopted into the high-speed corners. Clearly, Giovinazzi's passenger skills haven’t improved since the pair were let loose on the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife track last year…

Roles reversed, Raikkonen proved slightly less exuberant in his criticism of Giovinazzi’s driving – and predictably, gave up on his role as navigator halfway round the circuit, leaving his team mate to it.
