Lewis Hamilton set the pace across Thursday's opening two practice sessions for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, clocking the fastest lap of the day in FP2 as Mercedes narrowly got the better of their closest rivals.
Bouncing back from a tough round in Brazil, the Mercedes driver topped the timesheets in both FP1 and FP2, ending the day with a rapid time of 1m 33.825s to edge out McLaren's Lando Norris by just 0.011s.

The Brackley outfit looked strong during practice as George Russell broke into the top three, but with McLaren, Ferrari and most likely Red Bull all in the mix for pole position, tomorrow's qualifying session is set to be a close-fought affair.
