Charles Leclerc has put himself in prime position for Sunday’s Mexico City Grand Prix after clinching pole in a dramatic qualifying session.
The Ferrari driver topped the timesheets with a lap of 1m 17.166s, putting him 0.067s clear of team mate Carlos Sainz in second.
Behind them, world champion Max Verstappen set the third fastest time, though is one of several drivers to find themselves under investigation by the stewards.
