WATCH: Ride onboard with Leclerc for the fastest lap of Friday practice in Monaco
Charles Leclerc completed a clean sweep during Friday practice for the Monaco Grand Prix, backing up his pace-setting performance in FP1 by topping the timesheets at the end of FP2.
Leclerc got down to a benchmark time of 1m 11.355s with Pirelli’s soft compound tyres, putting him three-hundredths up on McLaren rival Oscar Piastri and a tenth clear of Ferrari team mate Lewis Hamilton.
It comes as Leclerc pushes for another pole position and race victory double around the streets he grew up on, having achieved his life-long dream with an emphatic display at the 2024 event.
