WATCH: Ride onboard with Leclerc for the fastest lap of Friday practice in Monaco

Charles Leclerc started his home race weekend in fine style as the Ferrari driver topped the timesheets during Friday practice for the Monaco Grand Prix.

With plenty of misfortune at the Monte Carlo venue behind him, Leclerc put those memories to one side and posted a benchmark time of 1m 11.278s in FP2 – leaving him 0.188s up on opening practice pace-setter Lewis Hamilton.

As was the case with many drivers, Leclerc’s best effort included some brushes with the barriers lining the tight, twisty 3.337-kilometre circuit, with the field beginning to test the limits ahead of qualifying.
