Oscar Piastri will start on pole position for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, besting Max Verstappen in Qualifying with McLaren team mate Lando Norris down in fourth.
The Australian posted a 1m 14.670s with his final effort, which left him 0.034s clear of Verstappen despite Piastri complaining of traffic in the final sector.

Piastri has taken three Grand Prix wins on the bounce which has left him 16 points clear of Norris in the Drivers' standings, with victory in Sunday's race set to equal a record held by Ayrton Senna of four consecutive wins for McLaren.
