Red Bull driver Max Verstappen posted the fastest time during Friday practice for the Japanese Grand Prix, which saw a mixture of dry and wet running.

With FP1 taking place in dry conditions and FP2 on a damp track surface, it was Verstappen’s benchmark in first practice that topped the day’s combined timesheets.
