WATCH: Russell triggers red flag with heavy crash during second Mexico practice
George Russell brought out the red flags during Friday’s second practice session for the Mexican Grand Prix, having lost control of his Mercedes and crashed at high speed.
Russell was working through an early FP2 run at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez when he took too much kerb at the entry to Turn 8, bounced across it, lost control as the car’s plank bottomed out and then slid rearwards into the barrier.
