WATCH: The 10 best onboards from 2022 so far featuring crashes, spins and incredible saves
Share
The first half of the 2022 season has given us… a bit of everything. From huge crashes to incredible overtakes and fights for the lead, the new generation of cars have delivered on all fronts, helped in no small part by the exceptional skills of the 20 drivers on the grid.
There’s nothing like a driver's view of the action, and we’ve collated 10 of the best. Starting with Zhou Guanyu almost losing it on a wet Monaco circuit, with his radio message as memorable as his save. Onto Mick Schumacher, who won’t remember Miami fondly, after colliding with none other than his mentor and friend Sebastian Vettel – with Esteban Ocon getting the best seat in the house to watch those two tangle.
Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen had previous from Austria, but this year kept their battle completely clean as the Ferrari driver managed a clinical pass for the lead. Daniel Ricciardo wasn’t Carlos Sainz’s favourite person when those two collided in the wet, and the action isn’t consigned to race day, with Nicholas Latifi’s crash in qualifying in Melbourne making the cut.
