WEEKEND WARM-UP: F1 drivers take their marks for another Sprint in Sao Paulo

With the F1 paddock reaching Brazil and the penultimate stop on an action-packed 2022 world tour, drivers and teams are busy preparing for the challenges of a Sprint weekend at the famous Interlagos circuit.

While the big prizes have been handed out, and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has already made history with the most wins in an F1 season, there are plenty of other talking points to discuss ahead of this weekend’s event.

In the drivers’ standings, Sergio Perez is doing his best to fend off Charles Leclerc for P2, while in the constructors’, Mercedes are now just 40 points away from second-placed Ferrari, as the rollercoaster Alpine/McLaren fight for P4 also rumbles on.
