WEEKEND WARM-UP: Scores to be settled at the Abu Dhabi finale as Vettel bids farewell to F1

Abu Dhabi plays host to the 2022 F1 season finale this weekend, with plenty of driver and team battles on the line at the Yas Marina Circuit, where four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will also say his goodbyes to the sport.

Vettel’s upcoming retirement was one of the main talking points as the paddock assembled for one final time this year – a host of tributes, memories and well-wishes being sent in the direction of the German.

Another hot topic is Nico Hulkenberg’s return to F1 with Haas, who opted to part ways with Mick Schumacher and bring in a new team mate for Kevin Magnussen as they push for consistent points-scoring with both cars.
