WEEKEND WARM-UP: The paddock chat from Brazil ahead of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix
Share
Interlagos returns to the calendar to host the 2021 Sao Paulo Grand Prix and final Sprint of the season and Thursday saw the drivers face the media as they geared up for a weekend of full-on action.
Talk was split between the battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton – who in turn are split by just 19 points – and Mercedes and Red Bull, separated by just one point with just four races remaining.
There was also excitement centring on the return to Interlagos – a venue that hosted a brilliant Brazilian Grand Prix back in 2019 that saw Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly take their respective maiden podiums – and on the matter of the final seat on the F1 grid yet to be filled, alongside Valtteri Bottas at Alfa Romeo.
Join Rosanna Tennant, Lawrence Barretto and Sam Collins in the video above as they round up all the paddock chatter from Thursday in Sao Paulo.
