Wehrlein to make Sauber return in Bahrain

Pascal Wehrlein will finally race for his new team this weekend, after confirmation from Sauber that he is fit enough to take part in the 2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Former Manor driver Wehrlein missed the first two rounds of the season as he worked to regain fitness following an accident in January’s Race of Champions event in Florida.
It means the German, who was replaced by Ferrari reserve Antonio Giovanizzi in Australia and China, will make his 22nd F1 start on Sunday, having finished 13th in Bahrain last year.
