What is the weather forecast for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix?

The weather forecast is in ahead of the fourth race weekend of the season from Miami.

Miami is playing host to the fourth round of the 2026 season, with the drivers and teams heading Stateside for the first of three races on US soil.

The Sprint also returns this weekend, so there is plenty to play for - but what is the weather going to do?

The forecast looks hot and dry across the whole weekend, but Florida has been known to throw up a few storms so everyone will be keeping half an eye on the skies just in case.

2026 Miami Grand Prix weekend weather forecast

FRIDAY, MAY 01 – FP1 AND SPRINT QUALIFYING
Conditions: Friday is set to experience hot and dry conditions. Daytime temperatures are expected to peak at 33.6°C with track temperatures reaching a scorching 56.8°C. Winds will remain moderate, averaging 11.2 km/h, while humidity levels are high but there is no chance of rain. Clear skies will dominate, making for ideal but demanding racing conditions.

SATURDAY, MAY 02 – THE SPRINT AND QUALIFYING
Conditions: Saturday will also hot and dry conditions. Temperatures will range from 23.5°C in the early hours to a peak of 34°C during the day, with a track temperature soaring to 52.1°C. Winds will average about 14.4 km/h but could gust up to 46.8 km/h. Expect no precipitation, making for a clear and sunny day.

SUNDAY, MAY 03 – RACE
Conditions: Race day is expected to experience partly cloudy conditions with a slight chance of showers (40% precipitation probability). Temperatures will range from 21.5°C in the morning to a high of 28°C during the day, with track temperatures nearing 39.8°C. Winds will be moderate, averaging 10.8 km/h and gusting up to 36 km/h, which could slightly influence race dynamics.
