What time is the 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix and how can I watch it?

The drivers are all set to go racing at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace ahead of this weekend’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil, but what time are all the sessions?

It is the last Sprint weekend of the season, so the action will be non-stop. Friday sees only one hour of practice for the teams to hone their set ups, try out the different tyre compounds and learn the track. Then qualifying is up next, which could see some upsets with so little track time preceding it.

Charles Leclerc comes into the weekend seeking his third straight pole position for Ferrari, while Lando Norris will be looking for a much better qualifying performance than he managed last weekend in Mexico City.

Saturday is the standalone Sprint day, with the Shootout followed by the Sprint itself – a mad dash to the line, with points for the top eight finishers. Max Verstappen has won three of the five Sprints so far this season and is in fine form heading to Brazil.

As for Sunday’s Grand Prix, Friday’s qualifying will set the grid for what is often one of the most entertaining races on the calendar. Interlagos is a track with plenty of overtaking opportunities, so even those drivers who couldn’t show their mettle on Friday might still fancy their chances of moving up through the field.
