What time is the Formula 1 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix and how can I watch it?

Here are all the timings – along with all the additional information you need – for the 19th Grand Prix weekend of the 2026 season from Mexico.

The 2026 Formula 1 season heads to Mexico City next for the 19th race weekend of the campaign, with the drivers barely having time to catch their breath after racing in Austin last Sunday.

Kimi Antonelli took the victory at the Circuit of The Americas in dominant fashion for Mercedes, leaving him on the cusp of a historic Drivers’ title, which he looks likely to wrap up at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

George Russell and Lewis Hamilton are the only two who can stop the Italian, but both will need to win this weekend to stand any chance of keeping their title hopes alive.

Where is the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix taking place?

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez will host the 19th Grand Prix of the season, a track renowned for its atmosphere with the event often happening alongside the national holiday of Dia de Muertos.

This iconic circuit returned to the calendar in 2015, and has become a fan favourite ever since.

The stadium section gives a completely different outlook for the drivers to negotiate

What is the weather forecast in Mexico City?

The weekend looks set to be warm and sunny, with temperatures just a few degrees cooler than the drivers enjoyed in Austin.

But there could be some showers around for Friday practice, so the teams will keep an eye on the skies to see if those materialise. The weather is generally good in Mexico, so whether that threat recedes and all three days of track action are run in sunny conditions remains to be seen.
