MONZA, ITALY - SEPTEMBER 11: Second placed Charles Leclerc of Monaco and Ferrari celebrates on the

The 2023 Formula 1 season returns from the summer shutdown this weekend, with the teams and drivers suitably refreshed from the mid-season break and raring to go racing.

For most, the break was an opportunity to get away, recharge and reset before the second half of the season. For some fans though, it was a great chance to plan trips to one (or more) of the 10 exciting events still to come this year.

Ten incredible destinations across five continents, with lots to see and do at each of them - including three F1 Sprint weekends. If you're still trying to decide which is the race for you then don't worry. Here's a quick rundown of what's coming up...

ZANDVOORT, NETHERLANDS - SEPTEMBER 04: Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing and The Netherlands leads

FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2023

The 2023 Dutch Grand Prix (finally) gets the season back underway this Sunday, with Zandvoort combining lots of enticing features for any F1 fan to enjoy.

There’s the historic track, there’s the beachside location just a 30-minute train ride outside of Amsterdam, and of course there’s the festival atmosphere – which is always guaranteed to be electric and most definitely orange-hued with Max Verstappen on the grid.

If you’re going to the circuit, try catching the action from either the first turn at Tarzan, or one of the banked corners – the final turn at Arie Luyendijkbocht or Hugenholtzbocht. The latter was widened and banked ahead of Formula 1’s return in 2021 to allow drivers to race through it side-by-side.

The following weekend, Sunday, September 3, see’s F1 visit the ‘Temple of Speed’ at Monza for the 2023 Italian Grand Prix.

The leafy parkland venue, located just north-east of Italy’s fashion capital Milan, creates a tranquil setting for a Grand Prix – but the action will be anything but relaxed! Cars are at full throttle for 80% of the lap, while the passionate tifosi will be roaring on their heroes at the circuit the locals call ‘La Pista Magica’.

Monza is very special place to visit. Try to be in the grandstand at the Variante del Rettifilo, one of the track’s best overtaking spots, to witness the awesome spectacle of cars braking from around 350km/h to just 70km/h before negotiating the tight chicane.

FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2023

FORMULA 1 LENOVO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2023

It’s easy to see why Suzuka is so popular. The high-speed track remains one of the ultimate driving challenges that has seen many legendary F1 moments over the years, and the atmosphere is amazing as fans happily play Formula 1 dress-up to support their favourites.

On top of that, there’s great food and loads of great places to watch the action. Grandstands D and E overlook the famous ‘S’ Curves, while the left flank of Grandstand G places you at the inside of 130R and Grandstand I will give you a view of the incident-attracting Hairpin.

Race Highlights: 2021 Qatar Grand Prix

FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2023

Formula 1 returns to the Lusail International Circuit for the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday, October 8 – and, even better, it’s an F1 Sprint event so there’s even more action across all three days.

Located just outside the capital city of Doha, the circuit hosted Qatar’s first ever F1 event in 2021 and it returns to the calendar this season after the country hosted the FIFA World Cup last year. If the thought of escaping colder climes appeals, Qatar has average temperatures around 28 degrees Celsius at that time of year – and there’s lots to do when it comes to outdoor pursuits.

The Main Grandstand puts you at the heart of the action, with panoramic views of the start-finish straight (over one kilometre of the track’s total 5.4-kilometre length), the pit lane and the team garages. Meanwhile, the new-for-2023 T2 Grandstand offers outstanding vantage points to enjoy the action through the circuit’s opening corners.

You’re spoilt for choice on places to watch too. If you sit in the Main Grandstand on the start-finish straight you’ll get an in-seat food and drinks service, while those in the stand at Turn 1 enjoy a view all the way to downtown Austin. FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO 2023

F1 travels south from Texas to one of the world’s most vibrant metropolises for the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix on Sunday, October 29.

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is located just to the east of the city, with a metro station ready to speed you to the downtown area at the end of each day’s action - making it a fantastic destination to properly mix sport and culture.

With its full-on fiesta vibes, the race is incredibly popular so try your best to grab a seat in the Foro Sol (an old baseball stadium) from which to soak it all in. Not only will you get to peer down into the cockpits of the drivers as they pass through the stadium section, but the atmosphere when the podium ceremony unfolds there must be experienced to be believed.

Race Highlights: 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix

FORMULA 1 ROLEX GRANDE PRÊMIO DE SÃO PAULO 2023

The 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix kicks off November’s action with the third race of the triple-header, and the final F1 Sprint event of the season, on Sunday, November 5.

A carnival atmosphere really does dominate in Brazil and watching Formula 1 cars alongside the locals at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, more commonly referred to as Interlagos, is something every F1 fan should experience.

Because of the bowl-like nature of the track, a place in Grandstand A on the banked entry to the start-finish straight will give you a double whammy of views, allowing you to see the cars winding through the infield section and then passing underneath you. On the other end of the straight, Grandstand M will put you on top of the first corner and the Senna S, a great place to watch overtakes on the track.
