Red flag ‘saved my day’ says Sainz after Lap 1 puncture
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz got a puncture on the opening lap after contact with Oscar Piastri, but the red flag for another accident meant he was able to change tyres and restart the race in P3 – which is where he finished.
