Saturday weather report 14 Jun 2003

Michael Schumacher (GER) Ferrari tries to keep dry during qualifying.
Formula One World Championship, Rd8, Canadian Grand Prix, Montreal, Canada, 13 June 2003

Hello and welcome back to the Canadian Grand Prix where here in Montreal the weather may be summarised in one word: wet!

That will suit Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello and Nick Heidfeld, all of whom yesterday expressed a desire for the poor weather to continue.

Officially the temperature today will top out around 17 degrees Celsius, though it is colder than that at present, visibility is down to around 3km and a 10 km/h north-easterly wind isn't doing anything to blow away heavy clouds.

Based on yesterday, these conditions look set to continue right through the day, which could mean some interesting tyre choices for Sunday, when all the forecasts are adamant it will be cloudy but with only a 10 percent chance of rain.
