After their tense battle in this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari and Williams will be among the teams testing this week in preparation for the next round of the season at Indianapolis on September 26-28.

Ferrari begin a four-day programme at Jerez on Tuesday. They will be joined at the Spanish circuit by fellow Bridgestone runners BAR (Tuesday only) and Sauber (Tuesday through Thursday).

Michelin teams will also be in action in Barcelona. McLaren are due to have David Coulthard, Kimi Raikkonen and Alexander Wurz in action on Tuesday and Wednesday, while Renault and Toyota are also expected to run.

Silverstone will host the week's other major session. Juan Pablo Montoya and Marc Gene will be behind the wheel for Williams for three days from Tuesday, while Ralph Firman is due back in the Jordan cockpit for a one-and-a-half-day programme starting on Wednesday.

Finally at Mugello on Tuesday, Minardi will at last get to try out the Arrows A23 they purchased at auction when Jos Verstappen carries out a back-to-back comparison test with the team's current PS03 car.

Check back throughout the week for news on the teams' testing progress. All schedules are provisional and unofficial.
