The British Grand Prix is one of 19 races listed on the provisional calendar for the 2005 Formula One season, as released by the sports governing body, the FIA, on Wednesday.
All of the 2004 rounds are retained, with Turkey joining the schedule for its inaugural Grand Prix in August.
The contracts for the British and French races remain under discussion, while San Marino is included subject to compliance with contract.
Exact dates have not been released for the Grands Prix of Europe, USA and China. These will be confirmed no later than the meeting of the World Motor Sport Council on December 10, 2004.
