Verstappen pulls out of Jordan test
Ex Formula One driver Jos Verstappen has withdrawn from a planned test with Jordan, saying that he was unable to find a comfortable seating position in the car.
Verstappen, who last raced with Minardi in 2003, was due to test the EJ14 at Silverstone on Monday of next week. But after an apparently unsuccessful seat fitting, the Dutchman said he felt it pointless to proceed, as he would be unable to drive to his full potential.
Jordan will go ahead with the rest of their Silverstone programme as planned, with Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano due on track on Tuesday June 2 and Wednesday June 3.
