Schumacher to star at Nurburgring this weekend 01 Sep 2004
Michael Schumacher will be guest of honour at the Ferrari Racing Days 2004 event at the Nurburgring in Germany this weekend. The seven-time world champion will take to the track on Sunday for a demonstration run at the wheel of last year’s F2003-GA.
Older Ferrari Grand Prix machinery will also be on display. Over the three-day event there will be an exhibition of 12 customer-owned cars, including the 1971 ex-Jacky Ickx 312 B2 and the ex-Clay Regazzoni 1975 312 T, as well as four examples driven by Schumacher between 1996 and 2001.
Feature race of the event is round five of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy Europe, the one make series for the Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge sportscar.
