This weeks testing - Monza and Paul Ricard
|
Fernando Alonsos dominant win in Sundays British Grand Prix proved that Renaults rivals still have a lot of work to do if they are to halt the blue teams winning ways.
That work resumes this week when the bulk of the Formula One teams return to the test track ahead of the forthcoming back-to-back races in North America, the Canadian and US Grands Prix.
Testing is set to take place at two main venues - Monza, home of the Italian Grand Prix, from Tuesday, and the Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France from Wednesday. Among the teams due at the former are Renault, Williams, Toyota, BMW Sauber and both Red Bull squads. Monza should be slightly less crowded, with Ferrari, Honda and McLaren expected.
Midland, meanwhile, will be staying closer to home with three days testing at Silverstone following their 15th and 15th places in Sundays race there. And dont be surprised if Ferrari also take to their home circuit of Fiorano.
Check back throughout the week for daily updates on the teams progress. Note - all schedules are provisional and subject to change.
