Ferrari, Schumacher move to Paul Ricard 14 Sep 2006
Less than three days after announcing his retirement, Michael Schumacher was back on testing duties on Wednesday, as Ferrari shifted their programme from Fiorano in Italy to the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France.
Running on the tracks 2A-SC layout, Schumacher concentrated on an intensive Bridgestone tyre development programme in preparation for the final three races of the season. He covered a total of 215 laps, the quickest in a time of 1m 00.158s.
On Thursday Ferrari will be testing on two fronts. Schumacher continues at Paul Ricard, while team mate Felipe Massa will be working at Ferrari's own Fiorano track.
