Davidson set to test in Malaysia next week 20 Mar 2007
Super Aguri announced on Tuesday that race driver Anthony Davidson is expected to take part in next weeks multi-team test in Malaysia, despite sustaining a minor back injury during last weekends Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Davidson, who was competing in his first race for Super Aguri, collided with Spyker debutant Adrian Sutil during the opening lap of Sunday's race. Although he eventually finished in 16th, he sustained a slight upper torso muscular injury during the incident, which saw his Honda-powered SA07 lift into the air.
The 27 year-old British driver will undergo a final fitness assessment this weekend, before heading to Sepang to test for the Japanese team, ahead of April's Malaysian Grand Prix.
