Hamilton added to Goodwood FOS entry
|
McLarens Lewis Hamilton will make his first Formula One appearance on home soil next month when he attends the UKs Goodwood Festival of Speed. The news means all four of Britains current F1 drivers will be among those participating in the annual event.
Hamilton, Hondas Jenson Button and Red Bulls David Coulthard are all expected to race up the famous hill in cars supplied by their own teams, while Super Aguris Anthony Davidson will be at the wheel of the ex-Nigel Mansell/Nelson Piquet 1987 championship-winning Williams-Honda FW11B.
Both Davidson and Button are also due to take to two wheels on racing bicycles, as part of the inaugural Goodwood Organic Milk Race, which teams top drivers with professional cyclists in a time trial up the Goodwood hill - and back down.
Other Formula One teams expected to attend include Ferrari, Spyker, Williams and Toyota. The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place on June 22-24.
