Welcome to race day at the 15th round of the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship, the Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji International Speedway.

It has been raining lightly most of the night and thus far there is little sign that conditions for the race will be any different than those in qualifying yesterday, when it was wet and the ambient temperature high was 20 degrees Celsius.

The race will run over 67 laps of the 4.563 kilometre (2.835 mile) track, or 305.721 kilometres (189.975 miles). It starts at 1330 hours local time, 0430 hours GMT.
