Maroon 5 to headline Singapore Grand Prix concert 10 Feb 2012
Multiple Grammy Award winners Maroon 5 are to top the musical bill at the 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. The US rock band will appear on the Padang stage on Saturday September 22 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with admission free to all three-day race ticket holders.
Having sold over 17 million albums worldwide, earned three Grammy Awards and topped the Billboard charts, Maroon 5 have scored numerous hits including She Will Be Loved, This Love and, most recently, Moves Like Jagger and Misery from their third studio album Hands All Over.
Magnetic frontman Adam Levine has also chalked up points as a coach on the hit US television series The Voice, so Formula One fans can look forward to an adrenaline-charged show packed with the five-strong groups greatest hits.
Singapore organisers will announce additional artistes in the coming months.
