A Formula One fixture for 14 years, Honda’s Rubens Barrichello is one of the most well-known faces in the paddock. But just how much do we really know about the Brazilian? We reveal all...

Q: What's in your garage at home?
A:
My Honda Civic Hybrid.

Q: Tell us something we don't know about you?
A:
There is probably a lot about me that you don’t know! I will tell you one that is related to racing - I chose my helmet colours when I was only seven years old. The orange colour was inspired by the helmet of former Formula One Driver Ingo Hoffman and the blue top came from fellow driver Raul Boesel’s helmet.

Q: Your favourite song for karaoke?
A:
‘Honesty’ by Billy Joel - it’s the only song that I can sing really well.

Q: What's the most unusual request you've had from a fan?
A:
One fan of mine asked me to sign her chest.

Q: Funniest thing you've read about yourself in the press?
A:
How much I earn.

Q: Your most embarrassing moment?
A:
Back when I was in Formula 3, I asked the mechanics to change the wheel bar and then on my next pit entry, I mentioned that the car had improved. They then told me it had been disconnected! It was really embarrassing at the time.

Q: When you're at home, what do you listen to when driving?
A:
A whole range of music, but I really like Brazilian music and soft rock.

Q: Best part of being a Formula One driver - apart from the driving?
A:
When you have a big queue in a famous restaurant and the owners recognize you and let you in right away.

Q: Your most prized possession?
A:
My family.

Q: What would you be if you weren’t a racing driver?
A:
I have really no idea - I only ever wanted to be a racing driver.

Q: Person you most admire?
A:
Ayrton Senna and then Tiger Woods.

Q: Do you have any bad habits?
A:
My wife complains that I take my showers inside and outside of the shower because I leave it all wet!

Q: Last good deed you did?
A:
With my close friend Tony Kanaan, we set up our own Foundation in order to help underprivileged Brazilian children. The Barrichello Kanaan Foundation helps me to create a better future for these kids.
