Terms and Conditions
We are Formula One Management Limited of No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH (“we”, “us”, “our”, and the “Promoter”). We and our group companies own the exclusive right to commercialise the FIA Formula One World Championship® in all media. We are the promoter of the Prize Draw.
“You”, “your”, and the “participant” means the individual entering the Prize Draw.
By entering the Prize Draw you accept these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”).
For the avoidance of doubt, the terms of use of formula1.com and our privacy policy shall apply to your use of formula1.com.
1. WHO CAN ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
1.1 Subject to Paragraph 5.1 below, this Prize Draw is only open to entrants who:
a) are aged 18 and above;
b) scanned the F1 Unlocked QR code at the recording of the F1 Explains podcast at the Mexico City Watch Party at F1 Arcade, 420 Penn St NE, Washington, DC 20002, United States, between the Opening Date and the Closing Date; and
c) are residents of the UK, EU, or USA and other territories where its operation and the Prize(s) are permitted (where operation of this Prize Draw is not permitted by applicable law or regulation, this Prize Draw shall not be operated and residents of such jurisdictions are not permitted to enter).
1.2 The Prize Draw is not open to:
a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Prize Draw and their family members;
b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them; or
c) residents of any countries subject to US, UK or EU sanctions, including for example residents of Russia and Belarus.
1.3 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with Paragraph 1.1. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
2. HOW TO ENTER
The Prize Draw) will run from 15:00 ET (local time in Washington D.C., United States) on 27 October 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 20:00 ET on 27 October 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Entries received outside this time period are void and will not be eligible to win any Prize.
2.1 In order to enter the Prize Draw you must, prior to the Closing Date:
a) scan the F1 Unlocked QR code at the recording of the F1 Explains podcast at the Mexico City Watch Party at F1 Arcade, 420 Penn St NE, Washington, DC 20002, United States between the Opening Date and the Closing Date;
b) visit the webpage at https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/experience-f1-live-in-miami-courtesy-of-the-miami-grand-prix.7KQpt3r59PauCUXsCxloyG; and
c) submit the following details: (i) your email address; (ii) your full name; (iii) your country of residence; (iv) your phone number and dialling code; (v) your favourite driver; and (vi) your favourite team, on the webpage.
2.2 The winners of the Prize Draw will be contacted via email. You must provide a valid email address at the time of entering the Prize Draw. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and you will not be eligible to win any Prize. All personal data provided by you when entering the Prize Draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy as per Paragraph 5.2.
2.3 No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and purchase of any item does not enhance your chance of winning.

2.5 Only one (1) entry per person per Prize Draw is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning entry.
2.6 We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
3. PRIZES
3.1 Provided that the winners comply with these Terms and Conditions, they will each be entitled to receive one (1) pair of three (3) day (2 May – 4 May 2025) McLaren Grandstand tickets to the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025 at the Miami International Autodrome, Miami, United States for each winner and their nominated guest (the “Prize”). The Prize will be provided by South Florida Motorsports, LLC.
3.2 The Prize listed in Paragraph 3.1 above consists of the Prize only and does not include any associated costs or expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winners. We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize that are not expressly included in Paragraph 3.1 above.
3.3 The winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including customs duty, levies and/or other import fees to which any Prize may be subject, and any taxes imposed on their income.
3.4 The approximate retail value for the Prize is USD$825 (EIGHT HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE UNITED STATES DOLLARS) per three (3) day McLaren Grandstand ticket (with the pair being valued collectively at USD$1,650 (ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS) and both pairs being valued collectively at USD$3,300 (THREE THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS)).
3.5 All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
3.6 We reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of the Prize) with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original Prize offered is/are not available.
3.7 The Prize as set out above and awarded to the winners shall not be used or dealt with in any way that is incompatible with any applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the winner hereby acknowledges and agrees that no Prize issued pursuant to the these Terms and Conditions may be sold or offered for sale or other form of reward or incentive to any third party.
4. WINNER
4.1 There shall be two (2) winners of the Prize Draw. To determine the winners, a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall take place for the Prize listed at Paragraph 3.1. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
4.2 The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place at our offices at No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH no later than 23:59 GMT (local time in London, United Kingdom) on Tuesday 29 October 2024.
4.3 The winners will be notified that they have won by email before 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 30 October 2024 (but may be notified later if selected in accordance with Paragraph 4.4 below) and provided further details as to how they will be able to claim their Prize.
4.4 If the winner does not respond to us and/or take reasonable steps to follow our instructions on how to claim their Prize within three (3) days of being notified of their win and provided with such instructions, that winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have to respond to notification of their win and/or take reasonable steps to follow our instructions on how to claim their Prize within three (3) days of notification and/or provision of the instructions or else they will also forfeit their Prize).
4.5 If the winner rejects their Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner.
4.6 Where both of the winners are notified and accept their Prize prior to 12:00 GMT (noon in London) on Thursday 7 November 2024, the names of the winners will be announced on the episode of the F1 Explains podcast released on Friday 8 November 2024. If both of the winners have not accepted the Prizes by this time, their names will be announced in a subsequent episode of the F1 Explains podcast and the date of such episode will be communicated to the winners by us.
4.7 In addition to Paragraph 4.6 above, we may invite the winners to appear on a future episode of F1 Explains to congratulate the winner. The date of this episode will be communicated to the winners by us. Where the winner accepts such an invitation, the winner consents to such appearance being recorded and filmed by us and the recording and footage being used by us and South Florida Motorsports, LLC in accordance with Paragraph 5.1. The winner will sign and return any release forms required by us in relation to such an appearance.
4.8 The decisions of the judges regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
4.9 Proof that a valid winner was awarded can be obtained after the date of the Prize Draw by sending an inquiry to F1Explains@F1.com.
5. PUBLICITY AND YOUR DATA
5.1 Each winner consents to the use by us, our related companies, and the Promoter, both before and after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, still and moving images and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by us and our related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, you consent to the same. Each winner agrees and acknowledges that their name will be used when they are announced as a winner on an episode of the F1 Explains podcast in accordance with Paragraph 4.6. Residents of Tennessee or any other U.S. state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a perpetual publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize shall not be bound by this Paragraph 5.1 to the extent it is lawful.
5.2 We will use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Prize Draw as described in our privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at (https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy), and any other privacy policies we may provide to you from time to time. The information supplied by you in the associated entry form will be used as described on the entry form. Where a Prize is provided by a third party, you may be asked to provide your details to such third party in order for that third party to deliver your Prize. 5.3 Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than us, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.
6. MISCELLANEOUS
6.1 Each of the Promoter, our related companies, South Florida Motorsports LLC, SFM Events LLC, South Florida Stadium LLC, Miami Dolphins Ltd, and the National Football League (collectively, the “Released Parties”) accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the Prize(s). Each of the Released Parties further disclaim any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw save to the extent that such liability results from (i) death or personal injury caused by the our negligence; (ii) our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).
6.3 Each of the Released Parties shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Prize Draw where the failure is caused by something outside our reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, epidemic, pandemic, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
6.4 The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. However, you may have statutory or legal rights in the territory where you live which could apply to your entry in the Prize Draw.
