Terms and Conditions to the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2024 Competition in partnership with Salesforce (the “Competition”)

We are Formula One Digital Media Limited of No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH (“we”, “us”, “our”, and “Promoter”). We and our group companies own the exclusive right to commercialise the FIA Formula One World Championship® in all media. We are the promoter of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2024 Competition in partnership with Salesforce.

The purpose of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2024 Competition (the “Competition”) is to help us find a Formula 1 superfan to appear in an episode of our branded content series sponsored by our Global Partner Salesforce and titled “F1 Superfans Series with Salesforce” (the “Series”), which will be published on both our and Salesforce’s branded social media and digital platforms.

“You”, “your”, and the “participant” means the individual entering the Prize Draw.

By entering the Competition, you accept and agree to comply with these Competition rules (the “Rules”).

For the avoidance of doubt, the terms of use of formula1.com and our privacy policy shall apply to your use of formula1.com.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. WHO CAN ENTER THE COMPETITION

1.1 Subject to Paragraph 5.1 below, this Competition is only open to Formula 1 fans who:

a) are aged 18 and above;

b) are residents of the USA (50 States plus D.C., but excluding the State of New York, USA and the State of Florida, USA) only;

c) have access to the internet and an F1 Unlocked account or F1.com account (and such account has a valid verified email address connected with it), which accounts are free to create;

d) be able to legally enter the country where the Event is being held (for the avoidance of doubt, if a visa and/or a valid passport are necessary for you to legally enter the country, you must be (i) eligible to obtain a visa; and (ii) hold a valid passport);

e) are available to attend the Event, participate in the Prize experiences at the Event and pass all appropriate accreditation checks by us; and

f) are able and agree to contribute to the Series as we direct.

1.2 The Competition is not open to:

a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Competition and their family members; or

b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them; or

c) residents of any countries other than the USA; or

d) residents of the State of New York, USA and the State of Florida, USA. 1.3 In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with Paragraph 1.1. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

2. HOW TO ENTER

2.1 Round One (defined in Paragraph 3.2 below) of the Competition will run from 12:00 BST (noon, local time in London, UK) Monday 23rd September 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 BST Thursday 26th September 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Entries received outside this time period are void and will not be considered.

2.2 In order to enter Round One of the Competition you must, prior to the Closing Date, provide written answers to the questions on the submission form on the Competition website page at https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/salesforce-superfan-competition-austin.1IkdM7O1wCl43ky4jTyMlx about why you are a Formula 1 superfan.

2.3 Once your entry to Round One is submitted to us, it will become our property on receipt and will not be returned. By submitting your entry, you agree to:

a) assign absolutely to us all your intellectual property rights held in your entry with full title guarantee; and

b) waive absolutely all moral rights, in and to and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

2.4 You confirm that all information supplied (including personal details) by you in your entry to Round One or otherwise provided (including, for Finalists (defined below) as part of Round Two) is truthful, accurate, complete and in no way misleading. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate, misleading or incomplete personal details and/or information in your entry. The entry must not (a) be incomplete or illegible; (b) infringe the intellectual property or other rights of a third party; or (c) be unlawful, defamatory, abusive, insulting, threatening, obscene, inflammatory, offensive or otherwise contain content that the Promoter determines (in its sole discretion) inappropriate or objectionable.

2.5 The Finalists (defined below) and the winner of the Competition will be contacted via email. You must provide a valid email address at the time of entering Round One of the Competition. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and you will not be eligible to win any Prize. All personal data provided by you when entering the Competition will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy as per Paragraph 5.2.

*2.6 No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition and purchase of any item does not enhance your chance of winning. *

2.8 Only one (1) entry per person and per email address is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the selected winning entry. Any attempt to enter more than one (1) time by use of multiple names, email accounts, or any other means is grounds for disqualification.

2.9 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of submission or delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

3. HOW THE WINNER IS SELECTED

3.1 There shall be five (5) Finalists (defined below) and one (1) winner, selected in accordance with this Paragraph 3. The winner shall be named a Formula 1 superfan and shall be entitled to take part in the Series and receive the Prize (defined in Paragraph 4 below). Taking part in the Series is a condition of receiving the Prize, and if the winner is unable or unwilling to attend the Event and/or participate in the Series, they forfeit the Prize.

3.2 The Competition entries submitted via the entry form (being “Round One”) and the Finalists’ (defined below) answers during the video calls (being “Round Two”) will be judged by a panel of two (2) of our judges based on the weighted judging criteria set out in Clause 3.3 (the “Judging Criteria”). If you would like to request the details of the judges, please email us within one (1) month of the Closing Date.

3.3 The Judging Criteria is as follows:

*F1’s superfans do not have to be the most knowledgeable, bought the most amount of merchandise or been to the most races, but will be able to demonstrate:

a) an undeniable love of and dedication to F1 and the world of F1 that differentiates them from other fans;

b) a unique, personal F1 story that will resonate with F1 fans around the world; and/or

c) an ability to share their passion for F1 with others with inclusiveness, selflessness, and eloquence.*

3.4 The judges will judge the Competition entries submitted via the entry form as part of Round One using the Judging Criteria to select five (5) finalists to proceed to the Round Two of the Competition (the “Finalists”). The Finalists will be selected by the judges no later than 30th September 2024. The Finalists will be notified that they have been invited to take part in Round Two, being a video call with the judges, by email (to the email address connected to their F1.com or F1 Unlocked account) no later than 30th September 2024 and provided further details on how to take part in Round Two, including arranging a time and date for the video call. If a Finalist does not wish to take part in Round Two when invited, we reserve the right for the judges to select another Finalist to take part.

3.5 The winner will be chosen from the Finalists participating in Round Two by the judges based on the Judging Criteria after the end of Round Two, being no later than 3rd October 2024. The winner will be notified that they have won by email (to the email address connected to their F1.com or F1 Unlocked account) no later than 4th October 2024 and provided further details as to how they can participate in the Series and how they will be able to claim their Prize.

3.6 To accept the Prize, the winner must sign and return our Series release forms on behalf of themselves (and, if applicable, their guest) in the form provided by us (including a publicity and content waiver) and respond sufficiently with all other information requested by us within three (3) days of being notified of their win, and satisfy all appropriate accreditation processes required by us. If the winner does not comply with this Paragraph 3.5, they forfeit the Prize and the right to be named a F1 superfan and participate in the Series, and we reserve the right to select another winner in place of them in accordance with these Rules.

3.7 The decisions of the judges regarding any aspect of the Competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to regarding it.

3.8 Proof that a valid winner was awarded, or that no qualifying entries were received, can be obtained after the date of the Competition by sending an enquiry to fanexperiences@f1.com.

4. THE PRIZE

4.1 Provided that the winner complies with these Rules and participates in the Series to our satisfaction, they will be entitled to receive the one (1) Grand prize available, comprising the following items (collectively, the “Prize”):

a) one (1) pair of paddock passes for use by the winner and their nominated guest for access to the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2024 (the “Event”); and

b) such VIP experiences at the Event as we may make available in our sole discretion which may include (but is not limited to) driver meet and greet(s), garage tour(s), pit lane walk(s), photo safari or track tour(s). For the avoidance of doubt, any of these opportunities shall take place at a time of our choosing and are subject to availability.

4.2 The Prize listed in Paragraph 4.1 above consists of the Prize only and does not include any additional associated costs or expenses not specifically listed, including tickets to the Event (other than the paddock passes), travel to the Event, any accommodation used by the winners when attending the Event, insurance, the cost of transfers to and from any airports, stations or ports, food and drink, spending money, or personal expenses. Any costs incurred by the winner and/or their accompanying guest that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner and/or their nominated guest. We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize that are not expressly included in Paragraph 4.1 above.

4.3 The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including customs duty, levies and/or other import fees to which any Prize may be subject, and any taxes imposed on their income.

4.4 As paddock passes and VIP experiences are not generally available for purchase, we do not consider them to have any retail value.

4.5 The winner’s nominated guest must (a) be a family member or friend of the winner; and (b) pass our accreditation conditions. Where the winner’s nominated guest is under 18 years old, their parent or legal guardian must provide permission for the guest to participate in the Prize and agree to these terms and conditions on their behalf. Please note that we may also ask the nominated guest to take part in the Series alongside the winner.

4.6 The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize. Any difference between actual value and a variable value noted above will not be awarded.

4.7 We reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of the Prize) with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original Prize offered is not available. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of the Event or any other Prize-related activities due to causes beyond our control. In the event of any such cancellation or postponement the remaining portion(s) of the Prize will be awarded as the complete award to the winner.

4.8 The Prize as set out above and awarded to the winner shall not be used or dealt with in any way that is incompatible with any applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the winner hereby acknowledges and agrees that no Prize issued pursuant to the these Rules may be sold or offered for sale or other form of reward or incentive to any third party.

5. PUBLICITY AND YOUR DATA

5.1 By entering this Competition, you consent to the use by us and our related companies, both before and after the Closing Date of the Competition for an unlimited time, of your name and entry information and, if you are the winner, you further consent to the use of your voice, still and moving images and shall procure consent from your guest in respect of their name, voice, still and moving images, for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by the Promoter and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice. Residents of Tennessee or any other USA state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize shall not be bound by this Paragraph 5.1 to the extent it is lawful.

5.2 We will use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Competition as described in our privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy, and any other privacy policies we may provide to you from time to time. For the purposes of judging your entry in accordance with these Rules and, in the case of the winner, for the purposes of participating in the Series, the information you supply will also be shared by us with Salesforce. The information supplied by you in the associated entry form will be used as described on the entry form.

6. MISCELLANEOUS

6.1 Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than us, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.

6.2 To the extent allowed by applicable law, we accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the Prize. We further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition save to the extent that such liability results from (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.

6.3 We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside our reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud); provided that in such circumstances, we will endeavour, to the extent reasonably possible, to award the Prize in a fair and equitable manner among any entries received not affected by the problem.

6.4 To the extent allowed by applicable law, we will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, epidemic, pandemic, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

6.5 The Competition and these Rules will be governed by English law and participants in the Competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. However, you may have statutory or legal rights in the territory where you live which could apply to your entry in the Competition.
